Ingredients for stir-fried pork liver with onion

Onion two
Pork liver 500g
Salt 3g
Sugar 4g
Pepper powder 1g
Dark soy sauce 3g
Cooking wine 5g
Starch 6g
Green pepper 23g
Red pepper 20g
Garlic 7g
Ginger 8g

steps:

1.First, let’s prepare the ingredients. Wash the pork liver thoroughly in clean water and remove it. Slice it into even thin pieces and place them in a bowl.

2.Add 1 gram of salt, a little sugar, and 1 gram of ground pepper to the bowl. Add 3 grams of dark soy sauce for coloring and 5 grams of cooking wine to remove any unpleasant smell. Then add a small amount of cornstarch. The cornstarch helps to retain the moisture in the pork liver, making it tender. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes, allowing the pork liver to absorb the flavors.

3.Cut an onion into small uniform pieces after separating the layers. Add it to the bowl. Cut one green pepper and one red pepper into slices diagonally. They are used to add color. Slice two cloves of garlic and one piece of ginger as well, and set aside.

4.Now let’s prepare the sauce. In a separate bowl, add 1 gram of monosodium glutamate, a little sugar, 1 gram of salt, 1 gram of ground pepper, 10 grams of cooking wine to remove any unpleasant smell, 10 grams of light soy sauce, and 2 grams of dark soy sauce for coloring. Then add a little water and cornstarch. Once the ingredients are ready, we can start cooking.

5.Heat the wok and add oil. When the wok starts to smoke, pour out the hot oil and add some cool oil. Pour the marinated pork liver into the wok and stir-fry over high heat to quickly separate the liver slices. Once the liver turns firm and slightly white, remove it from the wok and drain the excess oil. This entire process should not exceed 20 seconds to avoid overcooking the pork liver.

6.Heat more oil in the wok. When the oil is hot, add ginger, garlic, and dried chili pepper to infuse their fragrant and spicy flavors. Then add the prepared onion, green pepper, and red pepper, stir-frying until they are partially cooked. Add the cooked pork liver back to the wok. Pour in the prepared sauce mixture and stir-fry quickly over high heat. Mix well, allowing the ingredients to absorb the sauce. Once done, transfer to a plate.

tips

1.Choose fresh pork liver: Select fresh and tender pork liver for better texture and taste. Make sure there are no strange odors or bloody smells.
2.Stir-fry the onions first: Add an appropriate amount of cooking oil to a hot pan and stir-fry the sliced onions until they turn slightly yellow and translucent. This helps to release a richer aroma and sweetness from the onions.
3.Add seasoning: According to personal taste preferences, you can add a suitable amount of salt, ground pepper, and other spices for seasoning. Be careful not to use too much seasoning to avoid masking the natural flavors of the pork liver and onions.

Whether it’s a regular dinner or a dish at a banquet, stir-fried pork liver with onions is an irresistible delicacy. It perfectly combines fresh flavors and abundant nutrition, bringing delightful enjoyment to your taste buds. Try making a serving of stir-fried pork liver with onions yourself and savor the goodness!
