Ingredients for wontons

Streaky pork 450g
Ginger 4g
Light soy sauce 5g
Soy sauce 3g
Salt 3g
Sugar 4g
Oyster sauce 5g
Sesame oil 3g
Pepper powder 3g
Small shrimp 10g
Nori 4g
Mature vinegar 7g
Chili oil 5g
Coriander 5g
Thirteen-spices 7g

Steps:
1.Clean the streaky pork and chop it into meat filling. Add some thirteen-spices, a little bit of ginger paste, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, sugar, oyster sauce, a small amount of sesame oil, and a pinch of pepper powder. Mix quickly until sticky. Pour in some previously soaked ginger and scallion water and continue mixing. Add a little bit of water to make the wonton juicy and shiny. Finally, add some chopped scallions.

2.Now, start wrapping the wontons. Take a wonton wrapper and place it in your palm. Use chopsticks to take a suitable amount of meat filling and place it in the center of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and align the edges. Gently press the meat filling flat with your fingers and then pinch the edges tightly. Pull the two corners of the wrapper to the center and overlap them, then press to seal. Wet the sealed wonton with a little water and use your hands to stick the wrapper together. Finally, gently press the edges of the wonton in your palm to ensure a tight seal.

3.In a prepared bowl, sprinkle some small shrimp to create a delicious base flavor. Then, gently add some nori, which will float in the bowl, bringing a taste of the sea. Pour in an appropriate amount of soy sauce, and its aroma will immediately fill the air. Add a few drops of mature vinegar, and the slightly sour vinegar will blend with the salty and savory soy sauce, creating a unique taste. Add a small amount of salt to enhance the seasoning in the bowl. Then, add a little chili oil to add a hint of spiciness and fragrance. Finally, sprinkle some chopped green onions to garnish the bowl with a fresh touch.

4.Now, cook the wontons. Once the water is boiling, gently put the wontons into the pot and push the water to create a gentle rotation. Cook for about four to five minutes. The wonton skins are thin and will cook quickly. Finally, garnish with coriander. Look at these wontons, flipping up and down like fairies. Come on, enjoy a bowl of wontons and feel the happiness.

Tips

1.Add an egg to the meat filling, it will make the meat more tender and juicy.
2.After wrapping the wontons, make sure to press the edges tightly to prevent them from opening during cooking.
3.When cooking the wontons, wait for the water to boil before adding them, and keep the heat medium-low to avoid boiling the wonton skins too vigorously.

Wonton is a delicious, nutritious snack that has a long history and cultural background. It is a part of Guangdong cuisine, showcasing the rich culinary culture of the region. When enjoying wontons, one can not only savor the deliciousness and uniqueness of the food, but also experience the charm and flavor of the local culture.
