On a tranquil autumn afternoon, sunlight streamed through the window, casting its warm glow on the kitchen countertop. Arranged on the countertop was a plate of vibrant stir-fried okra with scrambled eggs, emanating an irresistible aroma. The scent carried the essence of ripened autumn, evoking a sense of the changing season and bountiful harvest in nature. The tender green of the okra beautifully complemented the golden hue of the scrambled eggs, resembling a picturesque canvas prepared by Mother Nature herself. The slender shape of the okra, with its silky surface reflecting a natural sheen, seemed to mimic the gentle breeze of autumn caressing our faces.

Ingredient for Scrambled eggs with okra

Okra 300g
Garlic sprout 20g
Chili pepper 10g
Egg 200g
Salt 2g
Chicken powder 1g

Steps:

1.Prepare 300g of okra, wash them thoroughly, and remove from the water. Slice the okra into thin pieces, resembling snowflakes, to enhance both the texture and aesthetic appeal of the dish.

2.Cut the garlic sprouts and red chili peppers into small segments to add texture and color. In a bowl, crack four eggs, then add 2g of salt and 1g of chicken powder. Beat the mixture quickly until well combined. This seasoning will enhance the flavor of the eggs and add layers to the dish.

3.Heat the oil in a pan until it reaches around 150 degrees Celsius. Add the sliced okra into the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 5 seconds, then immediately remove the okra from the oil and drain excess oil. This method will maintain the tender and crisp texture of the okra.

4.Remove the excess oil from the pan. Add the drained okra and sprinkle 1g of salt. Stir-fry until the okra is evenly coated with salt. Pour in the beaten eggs over medium heat, stir-frying to evenly distribute the eggs and coat the okra. Increase the heat to high and stir-fry for 20 seconds before removing the dish from the heat.

Tips:

  1. Cooking sequence: Stir-fry the eggs until they are 70% cooked before adding the sliced okra. This ensures that the okra retains its vibrant green color while ensuring the eggs are fully cooked.
  2. Quick serving: Avoid overcooking the okra to retain its texture and nutritional value. Once the dish is cooked, remove it from the heat promptly and serve.

Stir-fried okra with eggs not only boasts appetizing colors and flavors but also offers high nutritional value. The vitamins and minerals in okra contribute to boosting the immune system, while the protein and various nutrients in eggs promote growth, development, and overall health. This dish is suitable for everyone and serves as a delicious and healthy culinary delight. In conclusion, stir-fried okra with eggs is a simple, nutritious, and flavorsome dish. Whether served as a main course or a side dish, it brings joy to our dining experience.
