Ingredients for Three Seafood Soup

Firm tofu 400g
Cabbage 100g
Pork 300g
Salt 3g
Cooking wine 3g
Cornstarch 5g
Crab mushroom 150g
Chicken powder 2g
Pepper powder 2g
Coriander 4g
Sesame oil 3g

Steps

1.First, we prepare a small block of firm tofu and cut it into even thick slices. Take a few leaves of napa cabbage, wash them, and tear them into small pieces, keeping the cabbage leaves intact. The tough stalks of the cabbage can affect the texture. Take a small handful of cleaned enoki mushrooms.

2.Cut a small piece of pork into even thick slices and set aside. Then, prepare the pork slices. In a bowl, add some water and squeeze out any blood from the meat slices. Rinse the slices and remove excess water. Add 1 gram of salt, 3 grams of cooking wine to remove any unwanted odors, and mix well. Finally, add a little cornstarch and continue to stir until evenly coated. Now that the ingredients are ready, we can start cooking.

3.Heat a sufficient amount of cooking oil in a pan. Add the sliced tofu, separating any stacked pieces with a spoon, and keep shaking the pan continuously. This helps the tofu adhere evenly to the sides of the pan, preventing it from sticking and burning. Once one side turns golden brown, flip the tofu and fry the other side.

4.When both sides of the tofu are golden brown, pour in an appropriate amount of hot water and add the prepared enoki mushrooms. Now, let’s season the soup. Add 2 grams of salt, 1 gram of chicken bouillon, 1 gram of black pepper, and bring to a boil. Then, add the marinated pork slices. Gently shake the pan to prevent the meat from sticking to the bottom. Once the pork is cooked, add the prepared napa cabbage leaves. Drizzle in a little cornstarch mixture to thicken the soup. Stir well and remove from heat.

5.Pour the cooked Three Seafood Soup into a serving bowl, garnish with a sprinkle of cilantro, and drizzle a few drops of sesame oil. It’s now ready to be served.

Tips

1.Add a variety of vegetables: Adding various vegetables to the Three Seafood Soup can enhance the texture and nutritional value. Try adding carrots, zucchini, onions, shiitake mushrooms, and other vegetables to make the soup more diverse and rich.
2.Control the cooking time: It is important to cook seafood and vegetables for the right amount of time. Overcooking can result in seafood becoming too tender or vegetables becoming overly soft. Pay attention to timing to maintain the desired texture and nutrients of the ingredients.
3.Sprinkle with herbs or seasonings for flavor: Before serving, sprinkle some fresh herbs such as parsley, cilantro, or green onions to enhance the taste and visual appeal of the soup.
