Ingredients for Savory and Sweet Pork Rib Soup:

Pork chops 300g
Cooking wine 5g
Ginger 5g
Yam 20g
Corn 30g
Jujube 10g
Salt 2g
Carrot 30g

Step:

1.First, prepare a pot and add cold water to it. Put in the pork ribs and ginger slices. Then, pour in a suitable amount of cooking wine and bring it to a boil over high heat. When the water boils, you will see a lot of foam on the surface, which consists of impurities and blood from the pork. After blanching, lift the pork ribs out of the pot, rinse them with warm water, and set them aside.

2.Clean the yam, corn, and carrots, and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Add them to the pot along with the blanched pork ribs. Also, add a few red dates and ginger slices. Then, add enough water to just cover the ingredients. This will allow all the ingredients to fully absorb the flavors of the broth. Finally, cover the pot, bring it to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 40 minutes. During this time, simply be patient and let the ingredients simmer and blend together.

3.After the long 40 minutes have passed, an enticing aroma wafts from the pot. At this point, remove the lid and gently stir the ingredients with a spoon or chopsticks to ensure that they have absorbed the flavors of the broth. Then, add a suitable amount of salt, stir well, and turn off the heat. It is now ready to be served.

Tips:

1.The pork ribs should be placed in cold water, and the water in the pot should be added all at once. It is not recommended to add water midway.

2.If possible, use a clay pot as it is less likely to let the soup evaporate quickly.

As you immerse yourself in the warmth of the savory and sweet pork rib soup, your soul is surrounded by warmth. The broth gently ripples, like a delicate poem. Its color resembles the warm red of maple leaves, exuding an enticing fragrance. When you hold the bowl and take a gentle sip, time seems to stand still. The broth slowly spreads on your tongue, like a spring drizzle falling upon your heart. The tender pork ribs dance in your mouth, bringing you a deep sense of happiness. This is a bowl of savory and sweet pork rib soup that nourishes not only your body but also touches your soul. In the midst of a busy life, it brings you a moment of tranquility and warmth, allowing you to rediscover the inner peace and balance.
