Ingredients for iced black tea

Lemon two
Salt 8g
Sugar 7g
Rock sugar 7g

Steps:

1.Start by preparing the lemon. Place the lemon on a countertop and gently rub the skin with table salt. This will effectively remove any wax coating on the lemon, which can affect the taste. Make sure to thoroughly remove the wax coating as it can impact the flavor of the lemon. Next, rinse the lemon clean. Place the cleaned lemon on a cutting board and cut it into even small pieces. Be sure to keep the knife sharp and make accurate cuts. Removing the lemon seeds is an important step as they can give a bitter taste. You can gently scrape off the lemon seeds with a knife.

2.Put the black tea in a pot and roast it over low heat to ensure even heating of the tea leaves until they become dry. Add an appropriate amount of white sugar and continue to roast over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent the sugar from burning. Gradually, you will see the sugar turning into a light caramel color. At this point, add an appropriate amount of mineral water and stir evenly with a spoon. When the aroma of the tea becomes strong, put in some rock sugar. If you want a sweeter taste, add a pinch of salt. The rock sugar will gradually melt, then turn off the heat. Wait for the aroma of the tea to fill the air before putting in some more rock sugar. If you want an even sweeter taste, you can also add a little pinch of salt at this time. Stir the rock sugar with a spoon and you will see it slowly melting into the tea. Once all the rock sugar has melted, you can turn off the heat.

3.When the black tea has cooled to 36.6 degrees Celsius, you can add the lemon slices to the pot and gently stir to fully blend the lemon slices with the black tea. Then, pour the mixture into a clean container, seal it, and refrigerate it. In the hot summer, when you want to enjoy a glass of iced lemon black tea, simply remove the container from the refrigerator and scoop out a glass. This lemon black tea is not only refreshing but also has the cooling effect, making it a great treat for the summer.

Tips

1.When brewing iced black tea, you can add a moderate amount of sugar and lemon juice to enhance the taste and flavor. If you prefer sweetness, you can add 1-2 teaspoons of granulated sugar at this point.
2.When making fruit iced black tea, cut the fruit into small pieces and soak them in hot water for 5-10 minutes. Then add black tea leaves and an appropriate amount of sugar, stir well, and refrigerate.
3.When selecting black tea leaves for brewing, choose ones with lower tannin content to suppress the release of tannins. Additionally, rapid cooling can prevent tannins from combining with caffeine, resulting in a smoother taste for the black tea.

Iced black tea, like a summer breeze, gently brushes across the taste buds, bringing a refreshing sensation. In the scorching sun, nothing is more delightful than a glass of chilled iced black tea. With its unique fruity aroma and subtle sweetness, this tea provides a cool sanctuary in every hot summer day.
