Flavorful Cabbage is a delicious dish with a rich texture and strong taste, making it a perfect accompaniment to rice.  Ingredients for Flavored Cabbage

Cabbage 350g
Streaky pork 200g
Ginger 6g
Garlic 5g
Red pepper 15g
Wood ear fungus 7g
Dried chilli 4g
Salt 3g
Aginomoto 2g
Light soy sauce 3g
Oyster sauce 3g

Steps:

1.Tear off the leaves of the cabbage and wash them in clean water. Separate the cabbage leaves from the stalk and cut them randomly. Slice the cabbage stalk diagonally into thin slices to match the cabbage leaves. Place them on a plate and set aside. Cut a piece of pork belly into thin slices. Cut the ginger into diamond-shaped slices and finely chop the green onions together. Remove the seeds from the red pepper and cut it into diamond-shaped slices. Soak the dried black fungus in advance, remove the root, and tear apart the larger ones.

2.Now let’s start cooking. Heat oil in a pan and then pour out the hot oil after thoroughly greasing the pan. Pour in cool oil. Heating the pan with cool oil prevents the meat slices from sticking to the pan. Pour in the pork belly and stir-fry until the oil is released, and the pork belly becomes glossy to enhance the flavor. Add dried chili peppers and pour in the green onions and ginger, stir-frying until fragrant.

3.Add the cabbage stalks to the pan and stir-fry over high heat for about a minute, until the cabbage stalks are slightly cooked. Add the red pepper slices and black fungus, stir-fry for a few more seconds, then add the cabbage leaves and stir-fry for another minute. Add oyster sauce, salt, monosodium glutamate, and soy sauce, and quickly stir-fry until the seasonings are well incorporated. Once the seasonings are dissolved, remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Do not add salt too early to prevent excessive water release. This simple and delicious flavorful cabbage is ready to be served.

Tips

1.Instead of using a knife, it is best to tear the cabbage with your hands. This helps to retain the texture of the cabbage and enhances the overall eating experience.
2.If you prefer a sweet and sour flavor, you can add some vinegar and sugar while seasoning.
