Introduction: Sausages is a type of food that utilizes ancient food production and meat preservation techniques. It involves grinding meat into strips and stuffing it into casings to create long cylindrical sausages. Sausages are typically made by stuffing seasoned ground meat into the small intestines of pigs or sheep (occasionally large intestines are used). China has a long history of making sausages, and there are various types available, mainly categorized as Sichuan-style and Guangdong-style sausages. The main difference lies in their flavors, with Guangdong-style being sweet and Sichuan-style being spicy. In the past, sausages were traditionally made only before the Lunar New Year, but nowadays they can be enjoyed throughout the year. However, the tradition of making homemade sausages for the Lunar New Year has been preserved in many southern regions of China and continues to this day. The longest sausage in the world was created on December 27, 2008, in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. A chef used 70 kilograms of meat, garlic, and other ingredients to make a 392-meter-long sausage, breaking the world record.
