Ingredients for cold tossed oil-seed rape

Romaine lettuce 250g
Garlic 10g
Ginger 7g
Streaky pork 40g
Red pepper 15g
Edible oil 25g
Salt 5g
Oyster sauce 8g
Light soy sauce 5g
Steamed fish soy sauce 6g

Steps:
1.Prepare the ingredients. Take some fresh oil-seed rape leaves and cut them into pieces. Take some affordable streaky pork and dice it. Mince the garlic, mince the ginger, and finely chop the red chili pepper for later use.

2.Heat a pan with a little cooking oil, add the diced streaky pork, and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the minced ginger, minced garlic, and chopped red chili pepper. Sprinkle half a tablespoon of salt and stir-fry briefly. Add oyster sauce, a dash of light soy sauce, and a bit of steamed fish soy sauce. Stir everything in the pan until well mixed. Remove from the heat and set aside.

3.In a clean pan, add a little cooking oil. When the oil is about 70% hot, add the oil-seed rape. When stir-frying this type of vegetable, remember not to add salt. Stir-fry until the color turns vibrant green, then turn off the heat. Pour the previously prepared sauce into the pan and mix well.

4.Transfer the dish to a serving plate. Invite your family and friends to enjoy the meal together.

Tips:
1.Choose fresh oil-seed rape by selecting leaves that are tender, bright green, and crisp with good elasticity. Avoid choosing leaves that appear yellowed or have spots.
2.Thoroughly wash the oil-seed rape by soaking it in clean water for a while, gently rub the leaves to remove dirt and impurities. Then rinse with clean water to ensure the leaves are clean and hygienic.
3.Season appropriately according to personal taste. You can add a moderate amount of minced garlic, cilantro, chili pepper, or other seasonings to enhance the flavor. However, be careful not to add too much, as it may overshadow the refreshing taste of the oil-seed rape itself.

In the scorching summer, having a plate of cold tossed oil-seed rape allows you to not only enjoy the pleasures of good food but also reap its health benefits. This dish is not only suitable to be paired with rice but also serves well as a snack or appetizer. Whether it’s served as a snack at a buffet or as a side dish for a shared dinner with family and friends, cold tossed oil-seed rape is a highly recommended choice.
